Fox Ridge State Park

We departed the Walmart in Dalton, Georgia at 8:00 a.m. (Eastern Time Zone) and arrived at the Fox Ridge State Park at 5:00 p.m. (Central Time Zone) in Charleston, Illinois. The park is located a few miles south of IL-16 on IL-130. We selected campsite #8 and settled in to spend the night. On future visits, campsite #39 will be our preferred campsite.
We use this state park as our home base when we do our annual visits to Moonshine, Illinois (website link). Also, watch the YouTube Video.
We do not receive cell phone service at this location through our T-Mobile service provider.
Camping Fee: $20.00 per night.
