Sandcreek RV Park
Torrey, Utah
Last night was quite windy, with strong winds that constantly rocked our trailer throughout the night. The weather forecast did predict that a high pressure weather system, coming off of the pacific ocean, would bring with it wind gusts of 25 to 35 miles per hour. They were right!
This morning brought us a sunny sky, with small patches of white puffy clouds gently floating off to the east. Thankfully, the wind had subsided significantly from last night.
We spent a delightful six days camping at the BLM at milepost 73 on Utah highway 24. We departed the BLM at 1:00 p.m. We arrived at the Sandcreek RV Park at 1:10 p.m. We will pamper ourselves with full hookups, restroom and shower facilities, for Sunday night.
Businesses in the area are starting to close for the season, so we will depart the area on Monday.
Camping Fee: $25.00 plus tax for 30 amp service.
Total miles traveled today: 5
Tomorrow another adventure begins.
