Morning Visitors
Yuma, Arizona
At sunrise, as Sharon and I were getting ready to begin our morning walk, I was retrieving my camera from the van to take some pictures of the sunrise. As I turned around, I was startled by the presence of a female burrow with her juvenile that had silently wandered into our campsite. They waited patiently for me to offer them a handout. No food or treats were offered to them and they soon wandered off to another nearby campsite in hopes of having better luck there.
Later that evening, another female burro with two juveniles passed through our camping area.
Tomorrow another adventure begins.
